Conner and Steve are long time friends who left the corporate world to strike out on their own. They purchased Far Hills Florist in 2024 from original owners Jeff and Barbara Schneider, who were finally ready for a well-deserved retirement. Jeff and Barbara spent several months teaching Conner and Steve about the inspiriation and guiding principals behind their design style and they remain actively involved with the business. True to the Far Hills legacy they inherited, Conner and Steve use the same high quality exotic blooms that made Far Hills Florist such a unique and easily recognizable style for over 50 years. Conner and Steve bring energy, passion, creativity, and vision to a floral industry which is often stuck in traditional modes of operation and thinking. With strong customer service backgrounds, the customer's experience is their priority and the flower shop staff is their family. Conner and Steve are also the owners of Ed Smith Flowers and Gifts, another local florist that has been serving the northern dayton area since 1955, allowing them to offer a variety of different flowers and styles to fit any occasion (check them out at www.edsmithflowers.net).

Do I have to pre-order for Valentine's Day?
We strongly encourage you to pre-order your Valentine's Day arrangements. By pre-ordering, we can guarantee that we have the flowers you want and have the capacity to deliver them. Every year we reach a point where we have to stop accepting new orders due to hitting capacity.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and Afterpay at our online checkout. For phone orders, we accept all major credit/debit cards.
Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time. We will never leave an arrangement if the outside temperature is too hot or too cold for the flowers.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues in Kettering?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, funeral homes, churches and other venues across Kettering and the surrounding cities. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.
